Charters Towers Mobile PC Repairs and Charters Towers Auction House or "CTA" merged in september 2003 . And launched the pilot proagrm , for CTA in October 2003. The pilot program of "CTA" was Free , the hole site was Free . And soon became a mess , eg. attenion grabbers were on every item , people just picked everything when listing there auctions and well it was a mess for the want of a better word . We recieved so many emails asking us to clean up the site , the only way to do this , is with some sort of fee , to segragate the use of the extras (eg. Bold , Featured Category , Homepage and so on .)

"CTA" would like to provide a safe place to shop , "CTA" has free auctions because there are people that cannot afford to sell at other auction houses , cannot afford to match the prices that the big guys ask . "CTA" is here for them , to buy or sell , trade , in an atmosphere of integrity and honor .

As a member, you are welcome to post items for sale using Charters Towers Auction House auction services. We do have restrictions on what items you may sell and what you may not sell. You may not sell illegal merchandise, including pirated software and music, firearms, or anything that is affiliated with violence, etc.

To become a member you must provide a ISP email address , we will not except free email address . If you sign up here with a ISP email address you have allready show your credit card details to that server , we do not have to see them .If we must , we can check from ones IP address for further details . CTA does not check credit cards as a form of registering process . You must provide a valid phone number when registering . Buyers and Sellere have asked us to ring and check that the person they are doing a trade with , is real , and has given them valid details , about there trade . We have checked , and if we could get in touch with the seller and was given valid details about the auction , the auction went through . Those that we could not contact , we advised we could not get in touch with them and the sale did not go through .
