Link Auction House Australia Nonpayment Policy .
Nonpayment Policy :
We want your trading experiences at Link Auction House Australia to be
enjoyable. However, trading at Link Auction House Australia is also a
serious business for our users—If you bid on an item and your bid is
accepted by the seller, you are obligated to complete the transaction.
Sellers expect bidders to follow through on their transactions and
therefore, a bidder that wins an auction but does not follow through
with the transaction erodes trust within our trading community. As a
means of improving the online trading experience for all our members,
Link Auction House Australia enforces a Nonpayment Policy.
If the non-pay bidder fails to offer a valid reason for fulfilling their
auction commitment, the non-pay bidder will be suspended until those
auction fees are paid.
Step 1 :
Wait at least 7 days Both the seller and buyer are responsible for
contacting the other party after the auction has ended so as to complete
the transaction. Keep in mind that sometimes the buyer may not have
received your email or message, payment may be on its way to you, or
there was simply a misunderstanding. Another problem is that many users
are using free email accounts with spam blockers that may accidentally
delete your message.
During this 7 day period send several messages to the buyer. Save
copies of all correspondence.Do not email with complaints about a
non-pay bidder until after the 7 day time period is up and you have
made several attempts to contact the bidder.
Step 2 :
Contact Link Auction House Australia If, after at least 7 days from
auction end, the high bidder still hasn't responded and/or you feel
that the high bidder isn't going to complete the transaction, send a
message requesting information on the party concerned . Please send
both parties usernames, the auction number and a copy of all
correspondence. Note: Allow a further 3 days for Link Auction House
Australia to attempt to resolve the matter.
Important Stipulations :
You must notify Link Auction House Australia of any non-pay bidders .
Please keep track of your auctions so you know who has paid up and who
owes. We can not be responsible for a sellers lack of organization.
Most sellers never have problems collecting for their auctions, a small
minority have a very high rate of non-pay bidders. This tells us that
their auction description is not clear or misleading. If we identify you
as a high risk seller, we will reimburse your auction and terminate
your membership.
